glasgow school of yarn 2013

glasgow school of yarn

it’s nearly time for the fabulous Glasgow School of Yarn again!! i’ll be in the marketplace once again this year, with as much yarn as i can fit on to my six foot table, and i’m really looking forward to it. it’s been a great event every time i’ve done it, and it promises to be even better this year!

the wonderful P-HoP will have a table in the marketplace again this year as well, and will be selling patterns & other great stuff to fundraise for Doctors Without Borders. last year, myself & a few of the other vendors contributed to a yarny “lucky dip” – but this year, i thought i’d do something a little different. i’ll have raffle tickets for sale at my stall this year, and for the princely sum of £1 per ticket, you can get a chance to win this….

one bag full

it’s a super-cute handmade “wool love” project bag from Art Equals Happy, stuffed with four skeins of (as-yet) undyed Old Maiden Aunt Organic Corriedale 4ply. this yarn is custom-spun for me, and with 380 yards per skein, it should be enough to make a sweater for most sizes – i’ll dye it for the winner in any standard OMA colourway of their choice!! this prize is worth roughly £70, but could be yours for the price of a £1 ticket – all raffle ticket sales will go straight to PHoP. i’ll draw the winning ticket at 5pm on saturday, but you don’t need to be at the draw to win – i’ll get everyone to put their email/ravelry name on the tickets so i can message you if you’ve won.

so, make sure you come by the OMA stall at Glasgow School of Yarn next weekend – i’ll be there 18th & 19th october from 10am-6pm!!

One Response so far.
