80% superwash merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; each skein of this 4ply yarn has 100 grams & 400 yards. it can be washed on a gentle wool cycle in your washing machine, although i'd recommend hand-washing for longer life. ruanaidh is the Gaelic name for the plant sheep's sorrel (& also means reddish); this colourway is hand-dyed in soft shades of red, orange, & pink with an undertone of green & yellow.
